DIY - Do It Yourself
To help our customers, we have gathered some great tips and advice to give a little insight into how we use Flake and Kandy on Nordic Flake. Note that the following tips are not the law and there is no right and wrong when it comes to custom painting, it's just your imagination that set the limit! This guide is evolving all the time and if you have any tips please email us and we will add them too.
No stress
Do not stress, tripping over and spilling stuff wont save you time. Slow is steady, steady is fast.
Know your equipment
Do not mix paint brands and make sure you read the product safety sheets. Ending up with a clear coat that never hardens out is fails you only want to hear about.
Start small
Test your idea on a skateboard deck or the toaster before spending a weekend in the paintbox creating something you will redo the next weekend.
Safety first
There is far many better ways to poison your body than filling your organs with solvent. Don't drink and drive then you can smoke and fly.
Have fun
Creating art should be fun. You will have struggle and dark times learning custom painting but in the end you will have a great time, trust us =)

Build your own Flake Buster

Flakespruta

För att spara tid och material lackerar vi alltid flake med “torraplicering”.

Nedan beskrivs hur du gör din egen flakespruta och använder den.

 

Köp en underredsspruta eller liknande.

Släng div slangar, det är blåspistolen vi ska använda.

Demontera den del som är avsedd för att fästa burken med underredsmassan i.

Borra ett stort hål i mitten av locket ( 16mm ) och några mindre i kanterna så att luften kan komma ner i flakeburken.

Kläm locket mellan delarna enligt bilden.

Klar att använda. OBS! glöm inte att montera en tryckregulator på sprutan, du vill inte spraya flake med 8 bar....
